The anticipation of the OnePlus 13 is increasing as leaks and rumors about this upcoming flagship phone continue to emerge. The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China in October/November this year and is slated to hit global markets in February 2025. Here's a look at what we know so far about the release date, price, design, and key specifications.

OnePlus 13 release date and price

OnePlus fans can expect the new device to launch in China between October and November 2024. If you want to get your hands on it internationally, you will have to wait until February 2025. While the exact pricing details are still under wraps, the OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, which was launched at a price of Rs 64,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant and Rs 69,999 for the 512GB option.

OnePlus 13 Design and Build

The OnePlus 13's design is expected to follow the company's sleek and modern aesthetic. Leaks suggest that the phone will feature a round camera module in the top left corner, reminiscent of the OnePlus 12's layout. However, it is expected to have a glass body, moving away from the ceramic construction of previous models. The phone will likely continue to have its signature curved display, improving both style and ergonomics.

OnePlus 13 specifications and functions

The OnePlus 13 is rumored to come with a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO micro-curved display. This will offer a vivid and smooth viewing experience with improved refresh rates and color accuracy. Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which promises improved performance and efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in the OnePlus 12.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 13 is expected to feature the Sony LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, similar to the OnePlus 12. This will be complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom that uses the Sony LYT600 sensor.

Leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 will have a 6,000mAh battery, compared to the OnePlus 12's 5,400mAh battery. Charging speeds are expected to remain at 100W wired and 50W wireless. However, there is some confusion regarding wireless charging, with some reports suggesting it may not be included.

The phone is reportedly expected to feature the O916T haptic motor, which is also used in the OnePlus 12 and promises a satisfactory tactile response during use. Furthermore, the OnePlus 13 is expected to have an IP69 rating, giving it excellent water and dust resistance.
