LA freeway closed at Stadium Way after semi-trailer crash scattered fries across road

LOS ANGELES, California, On Thursday morning, August 28, a semi-trailer loaded with French fries crashed on the 5 Freeway in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, blocking all southbound lanes with boxes of French fries.

According to local e-media, the accident was reported around 3:30 am near Stadium Way.

The video showed that the truck's cab had come loose from the trailer.

The French fry boxes were scattered all over the highway, prompting authorities to issue a warning signal and halt all southbound traffic while emergency crews worked to clean up the mess.
