Colorado husband tries to avoid a traffic ticket – by blaming his wife!

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – When you're dating, don't blame your wife!

A Colorado husband learned this the hard way after being stopped in Douglas County recently!

“We're used to hearing all sorts of excuses as to why someone has an expired license plate or temporary registration, but this one made us cringe a little,” the sheriff's office said in a social media post. “When the deputy asked why he hadn't renewed his registrations, the driver said it was his wife's car and she should have done it. Yuck.”

The Member … was not impressed.

“He got the ticket, not his wife,” the sheriff's office said.

Anyone driving with an expired registration is sure to get a ticket – blaming a family member is simply rude!
