Isiah Pacheco scores a 1-yard touchdown to give Chiefs a 20-10 lead

Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco needed a moment to collect himself during the opening drive of the second half.

But he then returned to the field and helped Kansas City take a bigger lead with a 1-yard touchdown run, giving the Chiefs a 20-10 lead with 11:28 minutes left in the third quarter.

According to Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com, Pacheco went to the sideline and vomited after losing the ball early in the possession, but was able to return to the game shortly thereafter.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes scored on a pass from Rashee Rice for a 33-yard gain to move the Chiefs into Ravens territory. Then Mahomes scored on a pass from Justin Watson for a 26-yard gain to the Baltimore 18-yard line.

A penalty for “unnecessary force against the passer” gave Mahomes and Kansas City new downs, which the club exploited with a 13-yard screen pass to tight end Noah Gray.

On the next play, Pacheco got a handoff and ended up in a pile that Mahomes helped push into the end zone and score.

Pacheco didn't get very far in the first half, but now has six carries for 18 yards with a touchdown.

Mahomes has completed 12 of 18 passes for 188 yards and one interception.

Linebacker Kyle Van Noy was down once during the drive, but was able to leave the field under his own power. His return to action is questionable due to an eye injury.
