Bill Belichick reposts photo of his girlfriend welcoming him to Instagram

Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick is officially on Instagram, or “Instaface” as he likes to call it.

And he's already getting the hang of it after reposting a photo of his girlfriend Jordon Hudson.

Belichick made his Instagram announcement on Wednesday during his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” which was met with huge applause from the group.

And Belichick's first Instagram story was a repost from 23-year-old Hudson, who shared a photo of the head coach and six-time Super Bowl winner petting a goat at the United States Naval Academy.

“I'll leave the 'Billy-Goat-ing' to @bill.t.goat at @usnavalacademy,” Belichick wrote in his story. “Thanks for the warm welcome, J!”

Although the two have been photographed together, Belichick has not publicly announced his relationship with Hudson – another first in the 72-year-old's life.

Hudson captioned the photo, “This is my formal petition to @BillBelichick to change his username to @BillyGoat!!,” adding a goat emoji.

“Welcome to ‘Gram, Billy!!!!” she added.

Belichick's first post on his new page was a video statement about why he is joining the social media platform.

“Because I haven't been part of a team for the past few months, I haven't had the opportunity to express my opinion spontaneously,” said Belichick, who did not get another head coaching job after parting ways with the New England Patriots after more than two decades.

“I'm changing that now. I tried to log into SnapFace but couldn't find it. I decided this would be a good place to land so I can talk to you and show you what I'm up to.”

Since Belichick moved into the world of sports media after failing to find a new coaching job, getting into social media makes sense for him.

He may have some help, but Belichick is definitely off to a good start with his Instagram debut, and Hudson is doing her best to make him feel welcome.
