Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has not disappointed the fans. The focus is on Shannon Beador And Alexis Bellinothe latter of whom has brought up the idea of exposing the former with Ring camera videos from the night of Shannon's drunk driving. Well, Emily Simpson is involved in the drama when she tells what Shannon told her off-camera about her relationship with John Janssen and how she feels John's Suit.

As fans will recall, John is currently suing Shannon for $75,000 that he says was used for a facelift. Alexis even brought up the lawsuit on the show, despite being out of the picture when he claimed to have loaned Shannon the money. Shannon's defense is that the money was a gift and that she offered to pay it back, but he chose to take legal action instead.

Recently Emily met with US weekly newspaper to discuss all things RHOC. Of course, a lot of the conversation revolved around Shannon and Alexis and their drama with John.

As for John's claims about a $75,000 loan, Emily says, “I was really shocked. I didn't know anything about it, and Shannon, no matter how long she was with John, always secretly told me about it after a few margaritas, she shared a lot about their relationship.”

She explains, “And she was always so scared that she always had to pay for everything. She was worried about the future because she didn't know if he could support her. We all know that shows are temporary. We don't know how long we're going to be on them. I think she was worried that she was the one who had to pay for everything and she told me that several times. It wasn't just me; when I compare myself to Heather or Gina, it's the same.”

Emily continues, “I think we all agreed that she was spending a lot of money on that relationship, and we felt bad for her. Then when the receipts came, I thought, 'That's a lot of money, and that may be a part that you didn't mention.' So I was a little irritated when that came out, but later I talked to her about it. I look at it from a perspective where not everyone wants to talk about the things or work that they did for them… I think in her mind, she may have felt like he was paying her back.”

Then she says, “When I heard things from her point of view, I felt like it was an opportunity to humiliate her.”

The interviewer then asks Emily if she thinks Alexis actually wanted to develop a friendship with Shannon despite her relationship with her ex. Emily says, “You know, that's the problem with Alexis, and I think that's what bothered me. I never had a problem with Alexis being with John.”

She continues, “And then on the first group outing, which was to Heather's party, I actually went with Alexis and on the way there I felt like she was being very reasonable. She was like, 'I don't want to fight with Shannon. I don't want to be in a bad relationship with her.' And I was like, 'Okay, that's a mature aspect, but then we get there and it's like she's saying one thing but acting completely different.'”

Emily explains: “She says I want to be friends with her, but then she demeans her. She says I want to get along with this woman, but then she constantly talks about John in front of her. It doesn't make sense.”

Emily is also asked if she thinks Alexis was intentionally mean to Shannon. She replies, “Yeah, when you show up at a dinner and there's a lot of people there and you have copies of receipts, there's nothing there other than you just want to humiliate them.”

The conversation turns to John and whether Emly thinks he love bombards Alexis. She explains: “I think so. I also think they have a good relationship. I really think they are deeply in love and care about each other and I don't think anyone really has a problem with that.”

She continues: “I think the problem is the constant feeling that we all have to go along with it and accept it and realise that Shannon was the problem and not him. That can't happen if it's forced on you. It has to happen naturally over time and I think that's where she's wrong.”

As for Alexis' behavior, which she doesn't see as a red flag, Emily says, “I don't think she sees any red flags. I think she's in love and I think she's just there to defend him and she's his biggest fan and she's there to fight for him and I think that was probably a misstep on her part. I think she probably should have come into the group and maybe tried to make friends and build relationships. I feel like I saw a completely different Alexis. I always knew her as a girl and very sweet.”

Fans can meet Emily and the rest of the RHOC Occupation on Thursday evening.
