Paris Hilton reveals details of 'Simple Life' reboot

Reality TV was no longer the same when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie entered the stage 20 years ago with The simple lifeThe famous friends have since reunited to reboot the show, now titled Paris & Nicole: The Encore– and Hilton just revealed some important details about what fans can expect when it comes out.

Speaking of The simple life in her September cover for Nylon, America's most popular hotel heiress said“It was such an important part of pop culture history and shaped this industry in so many ways and inspired so many others.”

As for the filming Paris & Nicole: The Encore, Hilton announced “We worked at Sonic a few weeks ago, which was a lot of fun. We went back to Arkansas to visit the family we originally stayed with. Seeing the same people again and visiting the same places we hung out was really emotional and special.”

Hilton also announced that The simple life played a major role in her distinctive speaking voice.

“At first it was a kind of reaction to a trauma, I wanted to create the perfect life of a Barbie doll… And then The simple lifeI was told, 'We want you to play this goofy fool,'” she explained. “I'm reclaiming my history. This voice is my more playful side. I do it when I'm shy or just having fun. It's part of my personality, so I think it's going to be a part of me forever.”

Paris & Nicole: The Encore was officially announced in May. While fans will have to wait for an official release date to be announced, the film will air on Peacock as soon as it is released.
