Want to enter a haunted house inspired by the Universal Monsters, the kind of insidious, well-thought-out experience that scares everyone every fall at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood?

Before you encounter the first terrifying character or experience the first scare, you'll be immersed in a heart-wrenching score composed by legendary musician Slash.

The acclaimed artist has written several soundtracks for Universal Monsters' haunted houses at the spookily famous event, including “Universal Monsters Rising” in 2018 and “Universal Monsters: Legends Collide” in 2022.

Now some spooky pieces are appearing on the brand new vinyl album “SLASH Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights”, which will be on sale during the horror event.

One hundred copies will also be available online from Deko Entertainment.

“As a long-time fan of horror films and of 'Halloween Horror Nights,' I jumped at the opportunity to work with Universal Studios Hollywood again to produce a soundtrack for the Universal Monsters haunted house,” says Slash.

“Much like music influences a film, I composed this score for the legions of notorious characters in these haunted houses to evoke a sense of emotional terror.”

These emotions will be eerily present in the latest haunted house, which features a Slash soundtrack: Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, which will make its official debut at Halloween Horror Nights on September 5, 2024.

The story is about the fearless Saskia Van Helsing, who, with the supernatural help of Frankenstein's bride, takes on Dracula's daughter.

Van Helsing's timeless tools, such as garlic and wooden stakes, are omnipresent throughout the twisty adventure, which also features other spine-tingling characters from the Universal canon.

Check out Slash's latest effort in Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, then relive some of the musician's Halloween Horror Nights classics on the limited edition album, available only on vinyl, of course.

Good to know? Around “300 color copies autographed by Slash will be placed in Universal Studios Hollywood stores until they are sold out,” according to the event.

Universal Studios and NBC television networks are operated under the same parent company, NBCUniversal.
