Good news on the injury front, two days before the duel between Nebraska and Colorado

Nebraska has added depth to its offensive line as the Huskers prepare for their clash with Colorado on Saturday night.

Head coach Matt Rhule said Thursday that Gunnar Gottula and Henry Lutovsky, who sat out last week's season opener, are ready to play against the Buffaloes. Gottula is listed as the second right tackle behind Bryce Benhart, while Lutovsky is listed as the second left guard behind Justin Evans.

Cornerback Blye Hill could also play Saturday, Rhule said. Hill is ranked No. 3 but had positioned himself as a potential starter before suffering a knee injury during the Red-White spring game.

Rhule said he expects a physically dominant but businesslike approach from his team for Saturday's highly anticipated match. He showed the team footage of Bud Crawford's performance against Errol Spence in their recent welterweight title fight and said that's the kind of behavior he'd like to see his players emulate: methodical, stoic and “not too emotional and hooray.”

“It's the same message we always hear,” he said. “When we play, we worry about ourselves. We try to play one snap at a time. If we play differently because of the opponents we're playing against, then we're not really who we say we are. We play at our level, and sometimes we don't play at our level, but the goal this week is to play at our level, and TV cameras and eyes shouldn't affect that.”
