Orlando Bloom had the cleanest and funniest response to Katy Perry’s comment “Housework is sex”

If you happen to stop by the Perry-Blooms' house this week, you'll probably be amazed at how immaculate the kitchen was. That's because earlier this week, Call her daddy Podcast, Katy Perry revealed that there are a handful of household chores that a romantic partner like her fiancé Orlando Bloom can do that… well, she explains.

“When I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean and you've washed all the dishes and closed all the pantry doors, you can get ready to get your dick sucked,” Perry, 39, said enthusiastically on Alex Cooper's popular podcast.

Bloom, 47, who has been engaged to the Lifetimes singer since 2019 and has four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with the pop star, added to the comments on Perry's Instagram post with pictures of the performance to assure her that he got the message loud and clear.

“I cleaned the whole house,” To the edge the actor joked alongside pictures of Perry with Cooper and a close-up of the singer's “DAISY” necklace.

That probably wasn't just an empty boast, because Perry told Cooper, “He actually does the dishes. We're lucky to have housekeepers, but on weekends he knows that's important.” To recap, on the podcast, Perry revealed that one of her love languages is “helpfulness,” and by “helpfulness,” she means making sure everything is clean and tidy.

“I mean, well, literally. That's my love language. I don't need a red Ferrari,” she explained. “I can buy a red Ferrari! Just do the damn dishes! I'll give you a blowjob! It's that simple! Don't you know that? Those are facts.” Following up on her TMI revelation, Perry mentioned that she and Bloom were once on a couples retreat where someone asked which guy has more sex, “the guy who drives the red Ferrari or the guy who helps his wife in the kitchen every night?”

Of course, the only appropriate response, according to Perry, was: “In the kitchen was the answer! In the kitchen. And Orlando knows all this. He hears me and he's meeting me there now.” When she's not praising Bloom's “Magic Wand,” Perry is busy promoting her upcoming album. 143which is set to be released on September 20, and on September 11, she will be the center of attention at the 2024 MTV VMAs when she receives the Video Vanguard Award.
