Injury report Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins: Miami removes four players from the report on Wednesday in Week 1

The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars updated their injury reports on Wednesday for their upcoming matchup on Sunday. The good news for the Dolphins is that four players were removed from Tuesday's version of the report and players who had been given veteran rest returned to practice. The bad news is that a key starter remains out of practice.

The Jaguars have not changed their side of the report. Safety Daniel Thomas is the only player listed. Thomas is dealing with an Achilles tendon injury and was limited in practice on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey remained sidelined with a hamstring injury and did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Center Aaron Brewer (hand), defensive tackle Benito Jones (knee) and wide receiver Malik Washington (quadriceps) were all limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

The team saw linebacker Jalean Phillips upgraded from a non-participant on Wednesday to a full participant on Thursday; Phillips got a veteran's rest day but also continues to recover from a torn Achilles that ended his 2023 season early. Miami also had safety Jordan Poyer (thumb/veteran's rest) and linebacker Anthony Walker (knee/veteran's rest) upgraded on Thursday, both from limited participation on Wednesday to full participants.

Safety Jevon Holland, who was fully involved on Wednesday despite ankle problems, also participated in the entire practice on Thursday.

Tackle Terron Arsmtead and defensive tackle Calais Campbell, who both sat out practice on Wednesday due to a veterans' rest day, were removed from the injury report on Thursday. Cornerback Kendall Fuller and linebacker David Long, who had limited practice on Wednesday due to the team's veterans' rest day, were also removed from the injury report on Thursday.

The Dolphins and Jaguars will face off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Both teams will release their final injury reports for the weekend tomorrow.
