‘Suspected shooting’ at Joppatowne High School not an active rampage, Harford County Sheriff’s Office says – Baltimore Sun

The Harford County Sheriff's Office responded to a “suspected shooting” at Joppatowne High School, although a spokesperson said it was not an active shooting.

The incident Friday afternoon was considered an isolated incident, according to the sheriff's office. People are advised to avoid the area and parents are advised to pick up their children from Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.

Police have not released any information on whether anyone was injured. Police officials are currently working at the school before releasing any more information.

At 12:54 p.m., the department posted on social media that it was working on an incident at the school and that a spokesperson was en route to the scene.
