As World Cup qualifying continues in South America, Brazil will look to end a three-game losing streak against a rapidly improving Ecuador side. It's a strange table to have Brazil looking up to Ecuador, but with Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia standing out from the rest as the class of CONMEBOL, Brazil will need to find a stable side to prove they are at least the fourth best team in the region.

Here are our storylines, how to watch the game and more:

So you can watch and the odds

Storylines

Brazil: Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior may be the player to watch as a goalscorer for Brazil, but Raphinha has only scored two goals in the Copa America so far and none in World Cup qualifying. Could that talisman actually be Raphinha? Raphinha started the season in a free-roaming Barcelona team and has three goals and two assists, already half his goal tally from all of last season. While it's too early to predict what this season will look like, a healthy, confident Raphinha could be just what the doctor ordered for Brazil.

Ecuador: A strong defensive side, Ecuador will be put to the test as hosts to Brazil. They were able to force Argentina to penalties at the Copa America, but Brazil are a team that at their best are relentless in attack, while Argentina are sometimes more pragmatic. Much of Ecuador's hopes still rest on the shoulders of 17-year-old Kendry Paez, but having scored six goals and provided three assists in 18 games for Independiente Del Valle, that hasn't held him back, making this a thrilling match.

forecast

While you can't say Brazil are back in this game, the points they picked up against Ecuador are a step in the right direction for Brazil after a disappointing year so far. Choose: Brazil 3, Ecuador 1
