Jayden Reed is involved in the creation of Jordan Love's longest touchdown pass

Green Bay Packers receiver Jayden Reed had a wide open field in the first half of Friday night's season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil and caused an open-field defender to miss Jordan Love's 70-yard touchdown pass, the longest of his career.

On third-and-10, Love escaped pressure and broke out of the pocket before finding Reed completely free, who was moving left to right down the field. The second-year receiver caught the ball, evaded a tackle attempt and sprinted into the end zone to give the Packers a 19-14 lead in the second quarter at Arena Corinthians.

Here is the touchdown from Love to Reed:

The opening score was Reed's second of the first half, coming on a 33-yard run after an end-around early in the second quarter. Reed has totaled 112 yards on just three touches (two catches, one run).

According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, Reed is only the third player in the last 40 years to score a rushing touchdown of at least 30 yards and a receiving touchdown of 70 or more yards in a single game.

Love's previous long touchdown pass was a 63-yard pass to Christian Watson against the Eagles in 2022.

In two quarters, Love has completed 7 of 14 passes for 140 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. His passer rating is 106.2. The Packers lead 19-17.
