Selena Gomez has become a billionaire thanks to the success of her Rare Beauty brand.

The 32-year-old star has enjoyed great success as a singer and actress, but her personal fortune has already surpassed the US$1 billion ($1.6 billion) mark with her makeup and cosmetics brand Rare Beauty.

According to Bloomberg, which included Gomez in its billionaire index for the first time, the brunette beauty is worth $1.3 billion.

Bloomberg noted that Rare Beauty, which Gomez founded and owns, makes up the “largest portion” of her personal wealth.

Gomez has a large social media following, including more than 400 million followers on Instagram, and has collaborated with many notable brands throughout her career, including Puma and Louis Vuitton.
