The stunning scene, first shared on Instagram by the Jaguar Ecological Reserve page, shows a jaguar sneaking up on its prey. The jaguar can be seen strolling towards a crocodile lying by a body of water as it almost disappears into the surrounding foliage.

The jaguar suddenly leaps forward. Its powerful muscles allow it to move at incredible speed. The crocodile barely had a chance to react before it was pulled into the water, where the real fight began.

In a blink of an eye, the jaguar catches the crocodile in its mouth and moves towards the river bank.
