Game updates, live scores in college football

The calendar may say September, but college football playoffs have already begun.

No. 9 Michigan football hosts No. 3 Texas at the Big House in one of the biggest non-conference games of the 2024 season. Michigan, the defending national champion, looks to extend its position as the best college football team and its home winning streak that dates back to the 2020 season.

The Longhorns are looking for an important away win to secure the title as the nation's No. 1 team early.
