Why is Colorado vs. Nebraska on NBC? How to watch Deion Sanders' team

Colorado coach Deion Sanders called the Matt Rhule-Nebraska matchup a year ago “personal,” breathing new life into an old Big 8 rivalry. When Coach Prime and Colorado football face the Cornhuskers again on Saturday in Lincoln, Nebraska, their fans across the country will be watching on a largely unknown channel this time.

The Buffaloes are scheduled to appear in their second game on NBC. The broadcast will highlight an unusual feature that is the byproduct of the Big Ten's conference realignment and media rights agreements that have gone into effect in recent years. This will be only the second time Colorado has played a regular season game on NBC, and it will be the first game the broadcast has aired on the channel since the 1995 Fiesta Bowl.
