It's game time in Iowa City!

The Hawkeyes will host the Cyclones in the El Assico Cy-Hawk Series in 2024!

It took a half for things to get going in the right direction, but it seems like Iowa might actually have an offense to match its always incredible defense this year. On the other hand, the Cyclones got off to a good start in their opening game, scoring a two-play, 71-yard touchdown drive against North Dakota. From there, though, things seemed to stall, with only two more touchdown drives in the final 59 minutes and 22 seconds.

To add to the drama this year, the Cyclones start with a myriad of injuries on defense. Could the Hawkeyes Strictly speaking Will they outdo Iowa State? Or will we once again be tricked into aiming for the football, only for Lucy to steal it away from us at the last second?

We'll find out soon when the Hawkeyes host the Iowa State Cyclones at Kinnick Stadium! One thing we know for sure: It's sure to be weird and there's going to be plenty of drama!
