Kalen DeBoer's Alabama got off to a rousing start with a commanding Week 1 win over Western Kentucky. Now the Crimson Tide will look to make it 2-0 when they welcome USF to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night.

Alabama crushed Western Kentucky 63-0 in its opening game. The Crimson Tide offense had no trouble throwing the ball, and Jalen Milroe started his Heisman Trophy campaign off to a flying start, throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes and scoring two touchdowns on the ground.

While the offense was almost unstoppable, the Hilltoppers' defense was also superior, as they were only able to cover 137 yards on offense.

USF rolled over Bethune-Cookman 48-3 in its Week 1 win. Byrum Brown and Kelley Joiner were among the key playmakers for South Florida, with the former rushing for 74 yards and a touchdown and the latter rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns.

What's interesting about this matchup is that the Bulls really pushed the Tide to the limit last season in Tampa. Alabama had to fight for a 17-3 win, but Milroe didn't play in that game and DeBoer brought a highly explosive offense to the program.
