Volleyball No. 10 hosts the Florida Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 10 Florida volleyball team returns to its home court this weekend, welcoming RV Ohio State, South Florida and Southern Indiana to the Florida Invitational. The three-day tournament begins Friday, September 6 and ends Sunday, September 8.

The 3-0 Gators make their 2024 home debut on Friday, playing USF at 7 p.m. at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Saturday's game against Southern Indiana begins at 4 p.m., and Florida closes play on Sunday when UF faces Ohio State at 4 p.m.

Sunday's game against Ohio State can be watched on ESPN2, with Sam Gore and Missy Whittemore on the phone. All three games can be heard from Tom Collett and Nick Cheronis at FloridaGators.com/watch. Live stats will also be available for all games.

Tickets:
Friday, September 6: Regular admission
Saturday, September 7: Free admission if you purchased a ticket to the Florida vs. Samford football game. Otherwise, regular admission applies as usual.
Sunday, September 8: Florida Volleyball invites all participants of past volleyball camps to attend the game against Ohio State on Sunday! Tickets for campers and their families are only $5! Buy tickets

A single ticket is valid for both games – fans of the games on neutral ground still need a day ticket for entry.

Park:

• On Friday, you can park in the orange flat lot next to the Stephen O'Connell Center. Opening begins at 3:00 p.m. Fans can enter through Gate 1, Gate 3 opens at 6:00 p.m.
• Parking information Saturday:

  • Fans can park in Garage 109 on Archer.
  • From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. there will be a free shuttle from the garage to the O'Connell Center.
  • Each person parking in the garage will receive a voucher for the shuttle. Fans should keep this voucher/ticket for the return trip after the game.

    • The shuttle will run until the end of the soccer game so that fans who are either staying for the next game or going to the soccer game can take the shuttle back to the site.

  • Entrance through Gate 1 opens at 2:00 p.m.

• Normal parking protocol for home games will resume on Sunday. Gate 1 will open at 12:00 p.m., and fans will be able to enter through Gate 3 starting at 3:00 p.m.

Marketing campaigns:

• Friday: Laundry bags for the first 500 students Presented by American Campus Communities
• Saturday: Free admission with UF vs. Samford FB ticket
• Sunday: Car flags for the first 500 season ticket holders at the game on Sunday and 250 autograph books, plus a cozy get-together after the game!
