Another Harry Potter star announced for Liverpool Comic Con 2024

The star is the sixth Harry Potter actor to be announced

Comic Con has announced Harry Potter star Harry Melling as its newest guest. Comic Con returns to the Exhibition Centre from Saturday 9 November to Sunday 10 November.

The actor is best known for his lead role as Dudley Dursley, Harry Potter's insufferable cousin. Others may recognize his work from other projects, including Harry Beltik in The Queen's Gambit or his role in The Pale Blue Eye, where he played the role of Edgar Allan Poe.

Harry is the sixth Harry Potter star to be announced, following Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) who all appeared at the Exhibition Centre. Fans are excited by the announcement, with many speculating that a full Harry Potter reunion is on the way.

Fans are now hoping that Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, will be next. In a comment on Comic Con, Amber Jasmine wrote: “More from the Harry Potter cast! Only Tom has to be next.”

Lucy Rose commented: “Tom Felton” with a prayer emoji. Harry will appear at Sunday's event alongside Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp, Marvel's Sebastian Stan and Pretty Little Liars' Troian Bellisario.
