Oregon's injury lists announced before kickoff against Boise State

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon has announced that six players will be unavailable for Saturday's game. Boise Stateand the use of three more is questionable.

Under Big Ten rules, each member school is required to disclose injury information two hours before the first kick. The Ducks are without an offensive lineman. Dave IuliTight end Travis Brashear, defensive lineman My'Keil GardnerDefensive player Florence And Dakoda Fields and kicker Andrew Boyle.

Offensive Lineman Matthew Bedfordwide receiver Gary Bryant Jr. and linebackers Jeffrey Bassa are all listed as questionable.

Oregon coach Daniel Lanning told reporters on Monday that he was optimistic both Bryant and Bedford would be available this week. Bassa played just 10 snaps in the opening win against Idaho.

Gardner and Fields' injuries are likely to be long-term in nature based on statements from Lanning in the past. Gardner is dealing with a lower leg injury that will keep the redshirt freshman “out of action for a while,” according to Lanning.

Bedford was expected to join Indiana this offseason. Bryant and Florence were both full-time starters a year ago when healthy, while Iuli and Gardner were expected to provide depth at their respective positions.

Although he was seen with a thick bandage around his wrist, Kobe Savage was not taken into account in the report.
