Days later Chrishell Stause called Nicole Young for spreading a rumor about Emma Hernan, Sell sunset Fans finally get answers to the drama on screen.

During the new season of the hit Netflix series, which streamed on Friday, September 6, Nicole, 38, brought up a rumor when the new addition Alanna Gold asked if Emma, 32, was single.

“Emma is single? I never know if she is single or dating someone,” Nicole said as Mary Fitzgerald clarified: “I have no idea. If she says she's single, then she is.”

Then Nicole not very subtly hinted that there was more to it.

“It's nothing. [It’s] something you already know but don't want me to bring up,” she noted. “I heard it from a source. I wish I didn't know. It concerns Emma and that's all I'm saying. It's morally disturbing for all of us.”

Mary, 44, and Amanza Smith initially acted confused about what Nicole was implying. Amanza, 47, first asked if Nicole was talking about “Orange County” before trying to get her to “stop” talking about the rumor.

“Not. [It’s about] Thanksgiving,” Amanza said. Mary, for her part, was “so lost,” saying, “I really don't think I know.”

It wasn't until Nicole mentioned the name Jenn that Mary realized. “Still? It's still like this?” she asked Nicole.

Amid this tense moment, Nicole explained why she decided to mention Emma's personal life on the show.

“It's just information that could seriously damage families, marriages and Emma's reputation,” she claimed. “I wouldn't do anything. Just like I haven't done anything, I wouldn't do anything. Because I don't know anything. That's why we all act so weird and uncomfortable. But as a married woman, this kind of shit gets on my nerves.”

Nicole continued, “If I were the woman, I would f***ing kill somebody. But my husband would never do that in a million years. … You know I'll be murdered for that. She would literally burn me at the stake.”

The cast of Netflix's Selling Sunset isn't afraid to speak their minds – both on screen and in their personal lives – no matter whose feelings might be hurt. The reality series debuted in 2019 and quickly became a fan favorite during its three seasons. The series follows Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander, […]

Amanza urged Nicole to “just stop” because this was not going to end well for her, saying, “Stop talking. Stop. Stop talking. You're about to step in a huge pile of shit.”

Mary pointed out that they “don't have to talk about that shit” while filming Season 8.

One episode later, Nicole brought up the allegations a second time.

“This is a sensitive issue,” Nicole told Alanna. “This has nothing to do with the Oppenheim Group. It is a personal matter of one person. It has nothing to do with business. This is nothing new. I have heard this several times over the last few years.”

Alanna admitted that the speculation was “a little disturbing,” but suggested that Nicole “talk to Emma” directly.

“I know if someone else finds out and it spreads through the grapevine, that's a lot worse than going to the person directly,” she noted, to which Nicole responded, “I've definitely thought about talking to her about it. But in this office, bringing things up and discussing them hasn't always worked well for me in the past. I don't want to get involved in that again. If anyone did, it would be one of them because they have a personal relationship with her, but I'm not going to do something like that.”

In a confessional, Nicole talked about how she “finally” had a “good relationship” with her co-stars. She didn't want to ruin that individual dynamic by going public with a rumor about Emma after the dust had settled. As a result, the allegations were never addressed on the show.

The drama was inevitable, however, as Chrishell, 43, and Chelsea Lazkani showed the consequences and attacked Nicole on social media.

“Someone has to take my phone [because] 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Are we really still giving airtime to LIARS who just want airtime??” Chrishell wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, August 31. “I will NEVER work on a show with her again. I'd rather get sued.”

Chrishell couldn't spoil the season, but she didn't mince her words: “Disclaimer when watching: You need to know that she is spreading a disgusting lie about a best friend that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.” [and] @done_and_done_productions, you are disgusting for catching me off guard like that [my friend] to convince the world of this, rather than allowing it to AT LEAST defend itself with the TRUTH.”

That same day, 31-year-old Chelsea Nicole harshly criticized her scenes on the show.

“@itsnicoleyoung you are the most devilish piece [trash] “I've never met anyone. You want to start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true,” Chelsea wrote on her own Instagram story. “OK let's see how this works out for you… spreading lies to get more views is so damaging.”

Emma has not yet commented on the situation. Instead, she publicly thanked Chrishell and Chelsea for having her back.

Nicole, meanwhile, stuck to her decision to address the issue on Sell sunset.

“Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you should ask your best friend some tough questions,” Nicole wrote on social media. “Did she tell you that she was confronted by her wife's best friend right on camera in the season 7 finale? Despite this, I dismissed this information as a rumor.”

Sell sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
