The Perfect Couple is Netflix’s new crime thriller with an impressive cast including Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and Eve Hewson. But the real secret is whether Dakota Fanning is pregnant in real life.

Dakota Fanning plays the heavily pregnant Abby Winbury in The perfect couple. Abby is the sister-in-law of the groom Benji. She is married to Benji's older brother Thomas and they are expecting their first child together. Fanning previously worked with director Susanne Bier on The First Lady and she would like to work for her – even if she pretends to be a pregnant woman. “She is a person of whom I can say with confidence, [I would] “I do everything for her and I trust her blindly as a director and as a person,” Fanning told Tudum.

In the series, Abby's belly appears to be quite advanced – with a clearly visible belly when she wears normal clothes and even when she wears a swimsuit. The belly looks a little to realistic for us.

Dakota Fanning was during the filming of The perfect coupleso that's a pretty impressive pregnancy prosthesis. She doesn't seem to be pregnant in real life now either, and the actress hasn't announced the birth of a child since filming the show. Also, looking at her Instagram feed, it seems like she hasn't flaunted the pregnant belly in photos either.

However, being a mother is not out of the question for her. She is ready to take on the role of a mother. “Being an actress is a big part of my identity. I don't really know who I am without it,” Fanning admitted to PORTER“But I want to shape my life and my career in such a way that I always have a choice. Having children is probably more important to me than anything else, even being an actor. If someone told me I had to choose, I would choose children. I'm one of those people who has always felt that urge.”

Fanning has not been in a public relationship since her relationship with Henry Frye in 2017. They attended two sports games at Madison Square Garden and wore matching couple outfits. Regardless of the relationship status, Fanning seems to be open to talking about motherhood and perhaps The perfect couple is a good start!
