In one of the big games of last week, USC traveled to Las Vegas to face LSU. The Trojans pulled off a thrilling 27-20 win that could put them on a strong start to the season. Quarterback Miller Moss was one of the biggest stories of this game, tearing apart LSU's defense, throwing for 378 yards and a touchdown, and completing 75% of his attempts.

Although USC's defense allowed the Tigers 421 yards, the Trojans' defense could not penetrate the red zone and held LSU to just 20 points that night.

Utah State has had a much easier start to the 2024 season. The Aggies faced Robert Morris last week and pulled out a comfortable 36-14 win. Utah State's offense had no trouble moving the football at all. Not only did quarterbacks Bryson Barnes and Spencer Petras combine for 343 passing yards, but the team also racked up 303 rushing yards.

The problem for the Aggies was that they lost the ball three times, all interceptions. They need to take better care of the football if they want to have a chance of beating USC.
