Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. The happy couple simply posted an announcement on their respective Instagram accounts with the words “Welcome little girl” and today's birth date, September 8. Check it out for yourself…

On Friday, the expectant parents were treated to a visit to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple to ask for blessings before the birth of her first child.
The couple, dressed in their traditional attire, were accompanied by their families. Ranveer and Deepika walked barefoot to the temple to pay their respects.

Ranveer was seen wearing his pregnant woman and held her hand as he led her to the temple. Deepika, glowing in pregnancy glow, was stunning in a green silk sari while Ranveer opted for a subtle kurta.
The couple were seen greeting fellow believers as they made their way towards the temple with the help of police officers and bodyguards to clear the way for them to enter.

In a video that quickly went viral, the expectant parents can be seen holding hands as they walk in front of their parents, who had also accompanied them to the temple.
Fans were quick to shower the couple with love and blessings on social media.

It was also reported that DP and Ranveer visited Mount Mary Church in Bandra to seek blessings before the birth of their baby.
The couple's visit to holy sites comes just days after speculations began to swirl about the impending birth of their baby. In their statement, DP and Ranveer revealed that they were expecting the baby in September but did not reveal a date.

Ranveer, who was busy with his film commitments, also flew back to the city to be by his wife's side as she awaits the baby's arrival. Rumour has it that the actor has cleared his schedule to ensure that he can be by Deepika's side when the baby is born.
Professionally, the couple will be back in the spotlight when their film “Singham Again” hits theaters in November.
