Kamala Harris greets a sobbing supporter in PA

Vice President Kamala Harris visited a small business in Pittsburgh on Saturday, where she comforted a sobbing supporter.

Ahead of her upcoming ABC News debate with former President Donald TrumpHarris left debate prep to greet her supporters at a local Pittsburgh store, where one of her supporters began sobbing while meeting the vice president.

Harris can be heard reassuring the unnamed supporter, saying: “We are all in the same boat.”

“It's going to be OK. We're going to be OK. We're going to be OK. We're all in this together,” Harris said. “We're going to be strong.”

Harris then greets other supporters gathered at the store, including a woman who claims to be a lawyer in Pittsburgh, who told Harris, “I just admire your work so much.” The woman and Harris try to take a selfie together, but the supporter says, “Oh my God, I'm shaking,” before asking someone else to take the photo with a steadier hand.

At the upcoming debate on Tuesday, Harris and Trump will face each other in person for the first time since announcing their candidacies in the summer.
