A fan reached out to X and said, “I want her to be named 'Ridhee'. The name is Deepika's, from Ranveer and is related to Siddhivinayak ganpati ji (since she was born on the days of Ganesh Chaturthi).” A fan page of Deepika shared a scene from Bajirao Mastani where Deepika's character gives birth and asked, “Do you think Ravika should be named after DeepVeer's daughter?” In the comments, a fan said, “Ravika = rays of sunshine!” Another commented with red heart emoticons.

Meanwhile, another fan took to X and said, “Smart suggestion to Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to keep their daughter's name Padmavati or Rama as according to Kalki Purana Lord Kali will marry these two princesses and Deepika was phenomenal in Kalki in 2898 AD.”

Ranveer and Deepika's baby was reportedly born at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The two posted a picture on Instagram without a caption. The picture had a white background and simply read, “Welcome baby girl! 9/8/2024 Deepika & Ranveer.” Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February this year and shared that they are expecting their baby to be born in September.

The couple visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai a few days ago. As they entered the temple premises, the couple was snapped by the shutterbugs. Deepika wore a beautiful emerald green sari while Ranveer opted for a cream coloured kurta pajama.

Talking about her work, Deepika was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD. She and Ranveer will next be seen in Singham Again, which is slated to hit the screens on the festive occasion of Diwali 2024. After that, Ranveer will be seen in Aditya Dhar's next action film and in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
