When Ranveer Singh said he wanted a daughter like Deepika Padukone

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh once expressed his desire to become a father and have a daughter, just like his wife and actress Deepika Padukone. Ranveer had spoken about it with a contestant on his quiz show The Big Picture.

Speaking to the candidate, Ranveer said: “Jaisa ki aap log jante hai meri shaadi ho gayi hai aur from 2-3 saal me bacche bhi honge. Bhaisaab, aapki bhabhi (Deepika Padukone) is a cute baby. Main to roz uski baby photos dekhta hoon aur kehta hoon ek aisi de de mujhe toh bus meri life set ho jaye. Main shortlist of Kar Raha Hoon names (As you know, I am married and may have children in the next 2-3 years. Your sister-in-law was such a sweet baby. I see her baby photos every day and tell her, “Give me a baby like that and my life would be fine.” I am already putting together a selection of names.)”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married at Lake Como in Italy in 2018. The couple welcomed a baby girl on Sunday, September 8, sources confirmed to IndiaToday.in.
