Is Saturday Night Live re-released tonight, September 7?

The calendar has flipped to September, and that usually means new Saturday Night Live episodes are on the way. The combination of SNL's 50th season and an election year has also created the most anticipation for a new Saturday Night Live season in recent memory.

Saturday Night Live will not air a new episode tonight, September 7. The 50th season of the sketch comedy show will not begin until September 28.

Instead, NBC will rerun an episode of Saturday Night Live during the show's regular time slot at 11:30 p.m. ET. Tune in to rewatch the Season 49 episode, hosted by Emma Stone, with musical guest Noah Kahn.
