Which NFL games are taking place today? Everything you need to know about the games of the first week on Sunday

NFL Sundays are back.

The first Sunday of the 2024 NFL season will feature 13 games with 26 teams in action, culminating in the Sunday Night Football duel between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams.

Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins ​​​​will make their debuts for new teams and compete against each other in Atlanta, while Los Angeles Chargers star Justin Herbert and Indianapolis Colts starter Anthony Richardson return from injury in his second year.

Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears), Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders) and Bo Nix (Denver Broncos) will make their debuts, marking the fourth time since 1970 that at least three rookie quarterbacks have started in Week 1.

There will be plenty of new faces: Russell Wilson makes his debut as the Steelers' quarterback. Kirk Cousins ​​makes his first start as the Falcons' quarterback.
