Cameras caught Stefon Diggs having an emotional sideline moment at the start of his Texans debut

Stefon Diggs makes his regular season debut for the Houston Texans on Sunday, and it didn't take long for him to have an exchange on the sidelines that turned heads.

Midway through the first quarter, Diggs was caught on camera talking to his teammates on the sidelines. Although it didn't seem like a negative conversation, Diggs was quite emotional as he argued about something with some players.

The video is below.

It looks like Diggs is explaining something, but at the end he seems to say, “It's my mistake. It's my mistake.”

Diggs finally broke out early in the second quarter when he caught a nine-yard touchdown pass from CJ Stroud on his first big play for the Texans. Midway through the second quarter, Houston's new No. 1 receiver made three catches for 21 yards and scored that touchdown.

After four seasons with over 100 catches and over 1,000 yards with the Buffalo Bills, the four-time Pro Bowler was traded to the Texans along with a fifth-round pick in the 2025 draft for a second-round pick in the 2025 draft. He has all the prerequisites to make this season a great one in Houston, as he will become a free agent after the season.
