NFL Week 1 inactive: Uchenna Nwosu and Sautoa Laumea out for Seahawks vs Broncos

The first Seattle Seahawks players who will not play on game day have been announced. As expected, Uchenna Nwosu and Pharaoh Brown are among the seven players out tonight's game against the Denver Broncos, leaving five spots open for presumably healthy replacements. Interestingly, one of those players not playing is cornerback Artie Burns. He was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday but will not play on Sunday.

Three of the Seahawks' rookie offensive linemen are inactive: Sautoa Laumea, Jalen Sundell and Michael Jerrell. Defensive lineman Myles Adams is also out.
