Friends are concerned as Meagan Good reportedly steps in to pay Jonathan Majors' child support and other expenses since Marvel fired her

Jonathan Majors' legal troubles have not only ruined his career, but have also hit his finances hard. Thankfully, his girlfriend Meagan Good is there to take some of the burden off him.

Majors, once a rising star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is reportedly struggling to maintain his Hollywood lifestyle on his own, with one source suggesting he relies on his wealth to cover his expenses – including child support payments.

“Life & Style” reports that an anonymous “source” told them that “Meagan is paying for everything.”

The “Harlem” star, whose net worth is estimated at $5 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, is expected to foot the bill after Majors was charged and found guilty on December 18, 2023, of third-degree reckless assault and harassment in connection with a domestic incident involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Since the allegations became known and especially after his conviction, several high-profile contracts with majors have evaporated.

Marvel Studios, for example, has severed all ties with him and dropped him from the highly anticipated project “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” The project was actually put on hold, The Richest reported in August 2024, despite his popularity in the film “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” which was released just a month before the Jabbari incident.

Instead, Disney, which owns Marvel, has shifted its focus to “Avengers: Doomsday,” with Robert Downey Jr. no longer playing the character Iron Man but taking on the role of the villain Dr. Doom.

Before his legal troubles, Majors was poised to become a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Fans loved his portrayal of Kang the Conqueror in the previous Avengers film, and he had reportedly signed a $20 million deal to star in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and appear in 2026's Avengers: Secret Wars. That contract expired in December 2023.

Meanwhile, his net worth has reportedly dropped to $500,000.

According to the insider, Good stepped in to cover not only their needs but also luxury goods.

“They wanted this dog so badly and she was left with the $75,000 training costs. This is crazy!” the source added, claiming that Good is even paying child support for Majors' daughter, Ella Majors, from a previous relationship.

Majors has spoken about his 11-year-old daughter Ella in several interviews, though he has kept her out of the public eye. While promoting “Lovecraft Country” in a 2020 interview with People, he revealed that his daughter is biracial, but he still wanted her to know all about her black past.

“She has to understand that it's not really 'black history' – it's American history,” he said at the time.

Months ago, Good spoke on “Today With Hoda & Jenna” about her relationship with Jonathan Majors, revealing that friends “discouraged” her from dating Majors, but she decided to follow her heart. In another interview with People, she said that even Majors initially discouraged her from getting into a relationship.

“He actually tried to dissuade me from being with him,” she said. “He wanted to protect me. I just said, 'My darling, first of all, you are dealing with a black lion.'”

Good has continued to support Majors and stood by him during his domestic violence trial. In an interview with “Good Morning America,” the “Creed III” star compared her loyalty to that of Coretta Scott King, saying, “She's an angel, she supported me… like a Coretta, you know? I'm so lucky to have her.”

Despite her public displays of affection and media adulation, some in Good's inner circle are reportedly still concerned.

“Nobody knows what Meagan sees in this guy,” the insider claimed. “If things keep going like this, she might not be able to pay her mortgage.”
