Don't believe the uproar over Kyren Williams | Fantasy Football Live

Andy Behrens, fantasy analyst at Yahoo Sports, explains why you shouldn't believe the panic surrounding the Rams' running back at the start of the season.

Video transcript

Give me something you may not believe in so much, Grinch.

Yes, I think all the worries about Kyron Williams were imagined, I think they were ridiculously exaggerated.

Um. And I would say that as someone who really likes Blake Quorum and his long-term potential.

Uh, he was a terror in the Big 10 last year.

He, he trampled my Hawkeye, he trampled everyone.

But we saw something of a collective outcry in fantasy circles last week when, you know, Sean McVeigh revealed that Williams will be returning punts for him.

Everyone had perhaps forgotten that he had actually borne this responsibility at times in the past.

It is not entirely new when McVeigh talks about the quorum.

It is also the case that he can step in for Williams as a rotation player.

These types are generally not referred to as 12-stroke types.

It's not necessarily an A and a B, and Blake Quorum is also listed as the team's kick returner, which is perhaps an even more concerning detail for a running back.

That's why I'm not too worried about Kyron Williams.

We have to remember that he was one of the key players in the fantasy game last year.

If he was in the final after about a month and a half of the season, chances are very good that you won your league.

They take him out because they are back in the spotlight.

I'm not worried at all.
