Lions Highlight: Jahmyr Gibbs scores Detroit's first TD in 2024

The Detroit Lions have scored their first touchdown of the 2024 season. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs had the honor of breaking into the end zone for Detroit in the first week's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Gibbs staggered through the middle on the second attempt and goal from the 1-yard line shortly after the two-minute warning.

The play was correctly changed to a touchdown after official review. Gibbs was careful not to let his body touch the ground until the ball crossed the goal line when Gibbs' shoulder hit the turf, giving the Lions a 10-3 lead over the Rams.
