With the success of X-Men '97 and more animation on the way, strong early enthusiasm for Kathryn Hahn-with Agatha – All the timeand legions of fans await the premiere in March 2025 of Charlie Cox And Vincent D’Onofrio-with Daredevil: Reborn (to name just a few examples) things are looking pretty promising on the Marvel Television side. In a recent interview with Weekly entertainment, Brad WinderbaumHead of Marvel Television, explained what the difference is from when Marvel first launched MCU series – it allowed television shows, Be television shows.

“Now we think of television more in terms of traditional television, where it could run for multiple seasons, where we can hopefully see the characters grow in the culture for many years,” Winderbaum said – a different approach than in the early days, when the focus was on the shows serving the movies. In fact, Winderbaum said, this has also led to a change in Marvel's approach to developing shows.

“One thing we're doing is we're developing a lot of shows at once now,” Winderbaum explained. “So in some ways we're doing television more in the traditional style of writing multiple pilot episodes and show bibles before we decide what we want to produce and actually bring to the screen, which gives us the opportunity to experiment and also plan all sorts of different Marvel sandboxes.”

In an earlier interview with RichSchaeffer offered some insight into the “diverse, mixed cast of witches” that viewers can expect – including Patti LuPone's Lilia, Sasheer Zamata's Jennifer, Debra Jo Rupp's Sharon, and Ali Ahn's Alice. “What they have in common is that they are witches without a coven. Witches are defined by deception, betrayal, villainy and selfishness. What do you do when you have a group of witches who [demonstrate] these concepts, and you want them to work together? “A whole lot of chaos magic, you would expect,” Schaeffer said.

As for the music that viewers can expect from the songwriters of “Agatha All Along”, Kristen Anderson Lopez And Robert LopezSchaeffer points out that numerous aspects of witchcraft are being targeted.[Where] “WandaVision” played with the form of classic TV sitcoms, [here] we play a lot with assumptions about witches. Like, what are the visual shorthands for witches?” And what about our main witch? Should we expect her evil ways to get even more evil? It looks like we'll get a chance to see another side of Agatha. “We definitely didn't want a one-dimensional, evil witch. There will be moments where we see Agatha's true heart,” the series creator added.
