SG's National Council Against Drug Abuse starts search for PR agency

According to tender documents obtained by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Singapore's National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) has started searching for a new PR agency. The contract will be for a period of 24 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

We are looking for an agency that can support NCADA in its business-as-usual communications plans and also demonstrates a willingness to be activated for crisis or problem management.

NCADA's communication objectives include developing a deeper understanding of the drug situation among key stakeholders and raising awareness of the importance of preventive drug education and the anti-drug mission in Singapore.

We are also looking for an agency to help disseminate stories or evidence-based insights that will contribute to a shared understanding of the dangers of drug abuse and build public support and advocacy for the drug-free cause in Singapore.

Finally, the selected agency must help to facilitate meaningful conversations to find common ground on the drug issue within and between different target group segments.

The selected agency must also provide a full range of public relations services, including media pitching and media relations to achieve NCADA’s communications objectives, as well as media event management and crisis communications.

In addition, the agency must establish and manage appropriate media partnerships with online media and key opinion leaders to complement its own efforts.

The scope of the media effort would focus primarily on NCADA’s key audiences and stakeholders, namely parents and the young population in general.

The agency must engage spokespeople and media profiles from both NCADA and community stakeholders and partners.

According to GeBiz, the submission deadline is September 16.
