Adam Azim fights Ohara Davies live on Sky Sports at the Copper Box Arena in London on October 19 | Boxing News

Adam Azim will fight Ohara Davies on October 19th at the Copper Box Arena in London, live on Sky Sports.

After winning and defending the European title in record time, Azim puts his undefeated record (11-0, 8 KOs) on the line against Davies (25-3, 18 KOs) as he looks to continue his impressive career and prove he is ready to face the biggest names in the division.

Davies, a former British and Commonwealth champion, returns to the ring looking to prove something after his unsuccessful attempt to capture the interim WBA super-lightweight crown and take a chance to get back into world title contention.

Azim has fought eleven professional fights and won eight of them by knockout, but is already European super lightweight champion.

The 22-year-old hopes to become world champion in the 140-pound class in the coming years, but to do so he must first defeat Davies, who is ten years older and wants to stop his opponent's career momentum.

“I'm looking forward to this fight. I like Adam Azim. I've known him since he was very young and it's amazing to see his success in boxing so far,” said Davies.

“No needle, no hate, I want us to return to our families happy and healthy after the fight. But this is where everything changes for him. I'm sorry, Adam. This is where it ends.”
