Is Chelsea Lazkani divorced? Selling Sunset season 8 brings rumors of infidelity

In the eighth season of “Selling Sunset,” there are some revelations that may have rocked Chelsea Lazkani’s marriage.

The series follows a group of real estate agents from the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles and revolves around the story of Bre Tiesi, the mother of one of Nick Cannon's children, who learns that Chelsea's husband Jeff Lazkani may have cheated on her.

In episode three, Tiesi's friend Amanda Lynn tells her that one of Lynn's friends, who lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood, saw Jeff kissing a female resident who wasn't Chelsea. In episode five, Bre tells Chelsea what she heard from Amanda, saying that regardless of their past disagreements, she felt Chelsea “had a right to know.”

Chelsea seems to take Bre at her word and is heartbroken about the possible affair. But she also questions Bre's motives for having the conversation on camera. Despite the drama of this explosive scene, by the end of the season, actual details about the state of Chelsea's marriage are few and far between.

Aside from mentioning to Emma and Chrishell immediately afterward that she hasn't yet confronted her husband about the rumor that he's at the W, Chelsea's only hint of what the future might hold for her comes in the season finale, when she sets her sights on a new home—possibly for herself.

“I thought I would continue to build on the foundation I laid in Manhattan Beach for years to come,” she says in a confessional. “I would have fought for my marriage until the end.”

Here's the status of Chelsea's marriage today.

Chelsea Lazkani filed for divorce in March

People reported that Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff in late March, citing “irreconcilable differences” in court documents. According to the publication, Chelsea requested joint custody of her and Jeff's two children, Maddox Ali Lavon Lazkani and Melia Iman Lazkani, as well as spousal support from Jeff.

People then reported that in documents dated April 2, Jeff responded to Chelsea's divorce filing, saying he also wanted a divorce. In a written statement, he claimed Chelsea had been “physically aggressive,” hitting him and breaking his glasses in one incident, and some of his belongings had disappeared from their home. He also accused her of filming him in their shared home and demanded ownership of the Manhattan Beach home.

In an interview with Access Hollywood in May 2024, Chelsea spoke publicly about the divorce.

“I'm doing well. There are ups and downs, you take each day as it comes, but today I'm doing really well,” she said.

When asked how much the cast of Selling Sunset supported her during her divorce, Chelsea said that Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause were her “best friends” and “the most helpful people in the world.”
