Néstor Carbonell on his first Emmy win for his guest appearance in “Shōgun”

Néstor Carbonell was nominated for his performance in FX’s Shogun.

“It's overwhelming,” he told Deadline after his win. “When you've been working as an actor for as long as I have, the role is a gift. Some years are good, some years you try to piece it together. You count your blessings when you're working. That's significant for me because my first job on TV was as a guest star on law and order. So today a small circle closes.
