What we call this photo Angola beat Ghana 1-0 at home on Thursday, marking the first time the Blackstars have lost a match for Ghana in 24 years.

The Blackstars from Ghana and the Ménas from Niger will meet this afternoon in the qualifier for the Africa Con 2025.

Both teams lost their opening games in Group F.

Sudan led the table against Niger 1-0, while Angola and Ghana beat Kumasi 0-1.

The Blackstars lost their first game for Kumasi in 24 years last week, but Angola won all 3 points after a 93rd minute goal from Felicio Milson.

After Thursday's match, Angola coach Pedro Goncalves said his team played well against one of the other African teams.

But I think the pitch and playing behavior are not good.

“Like Ghana, Kontri deserves a beta pitch and a beta stadium for Dia players.”

Ghana’s coach Otto Addo also agrees with the Angolan coach.

In fact, I am defending a player, Abdul Mumin, who failed to clear the ball in the penalty area, allowing Angola to score the winning goal.

Otto Addo said the ball “didn't bounce awkwardly in front of the defender and that's why I couldn't clear it.”

Coach Otto Addo and his boys can now ensure that they beat Niger in the game against Morocco.

Both teams are training for Morocco as they arrive on Saturday.

Team News Niger vs Ghana

Ghana comes to Morocco with only 22 players.

Defender Jerome Opoku, who plays in Turkey, has been injured and cannot travel with the team.

A statement from the Ghana Football Association said: “The player has informed the medical team that he is experiencing pain in his left gluteal muscle.”

“Further investigations have revealed that the pain has increased due to the poor pitch on which I train for Kumasi,” the GFA adds.

Jerome returns to his club for Turkey.

One player who has never travelled to Morocco with the La Galaxy team is Joseph Paintsil, who cannot attend due to passport reasons.

“Paintsil has withdrawn because of this passport, Mata. I am in Accra to sort out the passport process before I can return to the US to join this club,” the GFA said.
