Accident on Davis Boulevard in Dallas, Texas: 2 injured, 1 seriously injured

DALLAS – Two people were hospitalized Monday morning, one in critical condition, after a traffic accident in Dallas involving up to four vehicles, officials said.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, the accident occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Davis Street, near Hampton Road in the North Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas.

Firefighters reported that at least one person was trapped in a vehicle and had to be extricated. In addition, one of the crash victims was resuscitated during the crash response, Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said.

According to police, two victims were taken to the hospital. One of them was in critical condition, the other had non-life-threatening injuries.

The images from the scene of the accident showed a heavily damaged sedan and a pickup truck. Both vehicles had front-end damage.
