Gas station employee in Las Vegas allegedly beat up customers over nacho cheese

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) — A Las Vegas gas station employee is suspected of hitting a customer with a baseball bat because he ate too much nacho cheese, according to a police report.

Myron Bullie is charged with attempted murder and assault. The fight occurred at approximately 4:11 a.m. on September 3 at an Arco gas station near Rainbow and Russell.

Police said 911 was called after a man was found lying in the grass near the gas station bleeding from his head, nose and ears. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said the man was unable to tell officers what happened to him and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police asked the gas station attendant, later identified as Bullie, what happened. Bullie told police the victim was “talking [expletive]“ and asked him to leave the store.

The suspect then “showed the officers a cheese machine that [victim] broke” and then explained that the victim had not tried to steal, “but [Bullie] was annoyed that [victim] became [too] lots of cheese from the nacho cheese machine,” the police report says.

Bullie allegedly told the victim to leave the store and not to break anything, but said the victim “insisted” on getting nachos, so he pushed him out of the store, the report states. Bullie told police he had a bat in his hand, and he “pissed off” him and hit him with the bat.

“Don’t speak [expletive] for me…Now everyone will see this and they will know that they are never allowed to talk [expletive] to me,” Bullie told police, according to the police report.

Video surveillance showed the suspect pushing the man out of the store, the report said. The two began to fight over the bat, and Bullie punched the victim in the face and then struck him with the bat. When the victim stood up to walk away, Bullie struck him three more times with the bat, the police report said.

The victim was standing in a nearby store about a minute later and the suspect came out again and hit him with the bat “with such force that [victim] falls to the ground and only gets up again several minutes later,” the police report states.

According to police, the victim suffered two brain hemorrhages, multiple skull fractures, blood in the ears, air in the brain and multiple facial fractures. Bullie suffered a sprained wrist as a result of the blows, police said.

According to court records, Bullie's bail was set at $10,000. His next hearing is scheduled for September 23.
