Watch bodycam video showing chaotic moments of Tyreek Hill traffic stop – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The Miami-Dade Police Department on Monday released bodycam footage of Tyreek Hill's arrest on Sunday before the Dolphins home game.

Hill, who was arrested during a traffic stop and eventually charged with reckless driving and driving without a license, was dragged from his car – and shoved to the ground – by a police officer about a minute into the video. Hill was dragged from the car after an argument broke out over his window being rolled up after initial contact with a police officer.

According to officials, a police officer has been placed on leave and an internal investigation into the incident is underway.

In the video, the star wideout is seen talking on the phone on the asphalt while several police officers are involved. He says, “I'm under arrest.” As he is handcuffed, an officer tells him, “When we tell you what to do, you do it.”

Hill was then helped to his feet and placed on the sidewalk by officers. One officer can be seen putting an arm around Hill's neck and forcing him to the ground as Hill repeatedly screams that he recently had surgery on his knee.

A representative of the police union said the fault lay with the 30-year-old because he did not cooperate with the officers “immediately”.

Towards the end of the video, Hill could be heard telling a police officer, “I can't run. I'm not going to run, bro. I promise you, I'm not going to run, shit.”

“If I wasn't Tyreek Hill, God knows, the worst I could have done is get shot or get incarcerated” and “end up behind bars, you know, for a simple speeding ticket,” Hill told NBC News after the incident.

Later Sunday, the Miami-Dade Police Department launched an internal investigation into the incident and one of the officers involved was placed on administrative duty.

Drew Rosenhaus, Hill's agent, told NBC6: “We're going to look into this. For us, this is not over yet.”

Hill eventually suited up for a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he recorded seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown, which he celebrated with a handcuff move.
