Married San Jose couple accused of drug trafficking after police seize $2 million worth of cocaine

A San Jose couple was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after police seized an estimated $2 million worth of cocaine from a suspected drug house last week.

According to San Jose police, 51-year-old Tri Pham and 46-year-old Jenny Pham were arrested on drug trafficking charges after a months-long investigation by the department's Metro Unit. Investigators said the man and woman operated a drug house where they manufactured, transported and sold crack cocaine.

On September 4, police issued search warrants for homes associated with the couple on Bendmill Way in South San Jose and Maro Drive in East San Jose.

During the searches, officers said they found more than 16 kilograms of cocaine, 8 kilograms of crack and 50 Xanax bars. They also found six firearms, a rifle, two vehicles with secret compartments and cash valued at around $120,000.

According to investigators, the street value of the cocaine is around $2 million.

Both Tri Pham and Jenny Pham were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on charges of possession of weapons and possession and sale of narcotics.

Jail records show Tri Pham and Jenny Pham are being held without bail and their next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
