Trump believes Charlie Kirk can win Arizona with racist jokes

If you're a political activist tasked with winning Arizona for Donald Trump, you may face disapproval for making racist jokes on public radio.

Maybe even seen as an obstacle.

But apparently not if you're Charlie Kirk, the MAGA guru of the cult-like Turning Point Action in Arizona.

This week, an article appeared in New York magazine describing how Trump's plan to win Arizona in the upcoming presidential election was “outsourced to Turning Point Action.”

And why not?

Longtime political consultant Chuck Coughlin told the New Yorker: “There is no Republican Party in Arizona. It's been hijacked. Turning Point Action is the Republican Party for Arizona. It's been hijacked from within.”

Kirk insults Arizona's Latino population

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk speaks during a campaign rally for Republican vice presidential candidate Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) on September 4, 2024, at the Mesa campus of Generation Church.

The article describes how the group concluded that the best way to secure Arizona for Trump is a strategy that is “focused almost exclusively on reaching voters who are already ready to side with MAGA.”

Forget everyone else.

Given that, it's as if Kirk and his pals have no problem having a little racist “fun.” As if any sane person would call it that.
