She continued, “My fans are so passionate. … I played a headlining show the day the album was released and they already knew all the words to the songs I played. It was so cool and I'm just very grateful.”

Moroney said her turbulent summer – which included an appearance on the podcast “Call Her Daddy” and a song on the Twisters Soundtrack – is “so crazy.” Despite her success, however, she remains down to earth.

“I like to stay up to date with what people are saying [online] because I think it gives me a sense of awareness,” Moroney admitted. “But I think there are limits, of course.”

One of her limitations is not revealing who her songs are about, but the “Tennessee Orange” singer can't blame her fans for wondering.

While people “speculate” who her music is about, Moroney is more interested in which songs resonate with listeners.

“The songs help people to master their own lives and their own relationships. I think that's why I write songs,” she said Us“I love a song that makes you feel less alone. I think that's much more important than the noise on social media.”
