Eminem announces expanded edition of new album, due out Friday

Eminem will release an expanded edition of his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” on Friday, the superstar rapper announced on social media on Tuesday.

The album was teased in a promo video that featured Eminem entering a supermarket while his single “Somebody Save Me” plays over the store's speakers. He stops to get a carton of milk, but promptly drops it on the floor. On the side of the milk carton is an image of Slim Shady as he falls to the floor.

Eminem is walking through the store when a second figure appears, only seen from behind. A clerk, played by Eminem's DJ the Alchemist, tells him to leave. The store's security cameras switch to the font “Death of Slim Shady,” followed by the words “Expanded Mourner's Edition” and a caption saying the album is due out Friday.
